Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
We're happy to move or cancel your appointment, provided we receive at least 48 hours' notice. This gives us time to offer the appointment to other patients who need care. Please contact us by telephone or email to make any changes.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not attend your appointment, a late cancellation or missed appointment fee will apply. This covers the costs the practice still incurs for the reserved surgery time and team.
The minimum charge is £40 per 30 minutes of booked time. If you have paid a deposit, the fee will be taken from it. If your deposit is less than the fee, you will be asked to pay the difference. The exact fee depends on the length of the appointment and is at the discretion of Askew Dental Care.
After a missed appointment, we aim to contact you by telephone or in writing to understand what happened and to help you rebook.
If you have missed or cancelled at short notice two or more appointments within a 24-month period, we may ask for the full appointment fee to be paid at the time of booking. This payment will go towards your treatment and is not an additional charge.
We value every one of our patients and want to continue looking after you and your family. In rare cases, however, repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may mean we ask you to seek dental care elsewhere. We would only take this step after discussing it with you.
Fees and advance payments apply to private appointments only.
0% APR Finance options available, please ask the practice for more details.
These fees are estimates and are subject to change without notice and are dependent on individual treatment needs and on the complexity of the individual patient case.
For further information- please do not hesitate to ask your dentist, who will be more than happy to help.
